Interactive demo with synthetic data. This environment demonstrates Terra PPC workflows using synthetic advertising, seller-business, financial and economics data. Actions remain inside this demo and are not sent to Amazon or any external advertising or selling account.
COGS
Landed cost per unit, kept as versions and purchase layers. Historical P&L uses the cost of the units actually sold; break-even ACoS uses the cost of the next unit sold.
All information shown in this module is synthetic demo data and does not represent a live Amazon selling account.
COGS
Cost of the units actually sold in the period: each day's units carry the cost version in effect that day, or the purchase layers they sold from (FIFO, weighted average).$7,200.00

Products whose cost of the next unit sold is at least 10% above the cost at the start of the 30-day lookback (the Cost Increase Guard threshold). The guard holds scaling on campaigns that advertise them while their ACoS is above the new break-even.0

Products with a dated cost change after today: a sale-date version that starts later, or a purchase layer still on the way. Layers already received that sell after the current one are shown as queued in the table.3

Select a product name to show its landed cost and its path to automation below. Units and COGS cover the selected 30-day period; the cost change compares the cost of the next unit with the start of the 30-day guard lookback.
How cost reaches automation
ASSUMPTION: User-configured assumption. Not provided by Amazon.ADS: Simulated advertising data (Amazon Ads API-oriented workflow).DERIVED: Calculated by Terra PPC from other values shown.Supplier cost → COGS share of price → modeled break-even ACoS → current ACoS → scale decision → review → audit, computed from the current demo state.
3 enabled campaigns advertise this product; the lead campaign carries most of its ad-attributed sales.
1. Supplier cost

2. COGS share of price

How COGS works here
- Customer-configured costs. Product costs are records the seller enters; Amazon does not provide them. Every cost, price and sale on this page is synthetic.
- Two costs, two jobs. Historical P&L uses the cost of the units actually sold: each day’s units carry the version in effect that day, or the purchase layers they sold from. Break-even ACoS uses the current effective cost — the cost the next unit sold carries.
- History is never overwritten. Saving a cost adds a version; a correction supersedes the version it corrects. Both stay in COGS History and the Change Log, and a change can be undone there while nothing changed afterwards.
- Methods switch within their family. Sale-date methods: Constant, Period-based, Batch-based and Marketplace-specific. Purchase-layer methods: FIFO and Weighted average, shown on Cost Layers.
- Cost Increase Guard. When a product’s unit cost rose 10% or more within 30 days and a campaign that advertises it runs above its new modeled break-even ACoS, scale actions on that campaign are held and the next evaluation queues a cost review recommendation.
- Modeled break-even ACoS is the campaign’s pre-ad contribution margin from the configured economics, lowered by the ad-sales-weighted rise of its products’ COGS share of price since the seed configuration. It is Terra PPC’s deterministic model, not an Amazon calculation.
